I usually make a green mask or crown with tear drops around it. Put on some gems. Make sure the little girl has blush on her cheeks & pink lips. I also give her antenna. I say this is my version of Tinkerbell. They're always happy!

I actually have 2 different versions of tink that I do... I'm not particularly happy with either, but maybe you will be able to improve on them. Here they are:

tinkerbell 100E2141

took these pics a long time ago, so I've made a few improvements, but at least you get the general idea of what I did.

I have found that kids are mostly happy with whatever you do as long as it is similar. We paint right by the Disney place that is here a lot so, kids want Disney like characters. But, I don't always have the time to do that. So, I will tell them how she will look and they are always ok with that. If you get yellow hair, wings, and a green dress then they are elated!

I have a really small tinkerbell stencil. I made it at a scrapbook shop (I bought sheets of clear plastic, like transparency film, and cut it. So, I've used it with a mask like Psalm, and then stenciled a little tink silouette... here's the only pic I could find, I was playing around with it.

I find painting tinks or mermaids, is a lot more comfortable if you paint the cloths first, It makes me feel better, and is a kind of connect the dots game rather than trying to paint the whole thing from nothing.

These are not mine!! They are from my inspirefile and I don;t know who painted them. I know that's stupid. They come from internet so I think it's allright to put them here. When anybody knows who painted them please let me know.

Got to practice tinkerbell on darren's back, I asked him if I could paint perry's mask on his face and he said no Sad
But I got to pratice her face, I had a really, really hard time at first and then I sorta found my way. Thanks so much for the inspiration to increase my designs and give me more confidence yay!

Aren't you worried about Disney since Tinkerbell's image is copyrighted and they do sue?

I have to say that I'm really not. I have never heard of a face painter being sued for using a Disney image. If that were the case tattoo artists wouldn't even be in business. I guess use at your own discretion. I think it would be different if an artist was selling a portrait...but what we do is completely different.
