some Goo Gone might help get it off....

as for stairs, I roll mine up and down the stairs as long as I'm not worried about scratching them.

I think this case is about 6 inches taller than the fax max and its not as heavy.., but when full its heavy..but I can lift it. my husband usually loads my van for me..and goes along..great PR man and good with the kids in the line

Just to throw another idea out there, this is the toolbox my daughter has used for several years now:
http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/6/Tools/ToolStorage/HandBoxes/PRD~0580677P/Mastercraft%252BVertical%252BRolling%252BToolbox.jsp?locale=en
Is this the fatmax everyone uses? - Page 3 0580677_1?$medium$&defaultImage=image_na_EN

It's a fair bit cheaper than the FatMax and suits her well. With this toolbox, of course, she needs to have a table available to her whereas I use the FM as a table. But it is *much* lighter, and the two parts separate completely so she could use just the top part as a hand-carry toolbox if she wanted to.

That looks like what I use, Isabelle. The only problem with mine is that the bottom isn't big enough to hold the scrapbook case I have my paints in. That one looks bigger than mine, though.

No Menards in CT! I think that is a good thing, otherwise I would be driving to check it out, I am always looking for the better deal although I am already in too deep with my "foxymax"

Maggie I use an occy (sp?) strap which is a very tough rubber strap with a strong metal hook on either end of it. And Maxi has some holes that I can hook into to attach to it. I have to make sure I put the strap through under the table side of the chair so it fully supports it when I tip Maxi & roll.

The kids love the cushion I wanted it to be sparklie so I picked out the material & got a friend to sew up the cushion cover. I also added sparklie thingys to the back of the chair. The kids feels very special in my chair heheheh.

Maggie if you look closely in the first pic you can see the silver metal hook on the right hand side.

I've only done a couple of jobs with my Fatmax so far. My father notched a couple of 1/2 CPVC pipes as braces for the top. I have pieces of velcro in the "v" notch in the top to secure them laterally, and they are notched at the bottom to fit over the axle. They fit diagonally into the bottom drawer. Dad even painted them black for me ;-), even though I will probably get some plastic paint tomorrow since we are having a thaw right now in MD.

I made a big leap from the Snaz pro kit to waaaay too many new paints!! I'm too old for this much change LoL, all at once anyway. Very unsettling to have nothing where I was used to it being, and so spoiled by the Snaz color range, where for three years I never had to make up a color.

I think tomorrow I will take a break from baking (I am trying to restart this boutique baking thing I do - https://www.facebook.com/?sk=messages&tid=1591741994252#!/pages/Bramble-Hollow-Baked-Goods/138364376227280?sk=wall ) and take photos as I revamp my system over.

I had a pretty nice set-up before, much prettier...a large white wire collapsible shopping cart, in which I could fit perfectly my aluminum Snaz case, a tall vintage picnic hamper with my binders, water container and brushes, as well as table and chairs. Even my scale and brush box for the ponies!! Sob!! Sad Looking forward to wresting this Phat Max into "pretty", if it kills me.

FatMax, painted with Krylon plastic paint. Took two cans (sheesh!) and I still need to put the logo on the front so it doesn't look so bloody, but the paint is sticking very well. I'm impressed. I taped the handle area so it stayed black- I didn't trust the paint to be completely non-sticky in the future.

Hard decision, what color to do...I dress in pink and green a la Lilly Pulitzer, but then there are 1)the boys trade 2)did I want to risk scuff marks on light pink or green 3) my logo has peppermint cane in it.
I"m attaching pics of how I taped it up
Also, even though I painted and wallpapered thru college, I still managed to screw up and not tape the backs of the clamp down things. DUH!
Also, there is a fade from black to red on the backs of the drawers - so to be anal about it, you'd have to get on your back, or add two steps to the process. It all has to be done within 24 hours or you have to wait seven days for it to set. I would wear a mask - I'm good about not breathing near it, but the stuff was pervasive. Bad news. You'd think they'd design the paint better these days.
