MAGGIE!!!!!!, Just found this post - hahahaha, your yellow split cake case IS EMPTY! and that was only last november??? And you wrote "this is my first post"..... and now you're a GENIUS!!!!!! Love you girl... You are awesome on this forum and I love this... to see the progression!!

Also, I understand where the sleeves come it, hahahhaha!!!

Hahaha Lauri, never realized that I said made mini one stroke cakes and the little case isn't filled with paints until you pointed it out lol!

BTW did you see what i started with? and that was late November, should should see my paint stack...a little embarrassing LOL

I would love to see what you do with those one-strokes. I know we all love to make these and I am always left wondering what you can "actually" do with the color combos on a job.

Actually, I used them a lot, most of the designs I have done are done with splits. Like the feather, the rainbow with the yellow birds, some of the flowers in the flower challenge, Elmo mask, the beta fish, etc.
Last 2 parties I did I used mostly splits.

Thanks ladies!
I have pictures on my facebook page but mostly with my home made dfx and tag splits. The ones in the yellow box were the 1st splits made with snazaroo sparkle colors, I cut half of the cake and paired it with another half and use the leftover for splits. I bought each cake for 5 and some change "a steal".
I have used them for flowers, dragons and butterflies but on jobs and don't have pictures Sad

I love your splits! I split a few snaz paints for christmas leaves and that... I kept them in their original containers though and just switched colours.
