I bought the Mehron head for practicing. The first night, I painted a snake on the face and wiped it off right away. This snake stain has been on it for 3 months! I been trying everything with no luck. I finally tried Goo Off. It worked fabulously and now I have a practice head to use that doesn't need to be totally covered to use it. Can you tell I'm excited? It's the little things in life.  Very Happy

I tried magic eraser and everything else that I could think of and no luck. I was so upset...spent all that money on this head and couldn't use it. I sure am glad I didn't throw it away!

for me, magic eraser alone is a lot of rubbng.but mixing it with another stain removing chemical has always worked like a charm, thought it takes a bit of elbow grease.
try combining them, bet you'll get better results.

I also use magic eraser and nailpolish remover together frequently.

If you prime your cleaned practice head with unscented hairspray, the stains happen less frequently.

I usually practice on my my thighs. I have ruined two sets of king sized sheets with Wolfe Black Tribal designs. I then dyed the sheets black. They are a kind of heathery-gray. You probably don't want to know this.
Sigh.
As usual....
I digress.

Thanks Lisa. The hairspray probably gives the paint something to adhere to besides the plastic. I'll remember that.

You always make me laugh. You must have have been in the timeout chair a lot growing up...lol.

Dear ReRe:
I adore making people laugh.

I am in the timeout chair more as an adult.

My mother was a wild child and from the time I was 7 years old, I had to be the adult, telling her to pay bills, grocery shop, which bills to pay. I think I was pretty joyless as a child. I lived in books and drawing.
I got to re-experience the magic and joy of childhood with my own children…. making wishes on dandelion puffs and singing out loud while walking down the street. We visited the park close to us most days of the week and we were all closer to nature, squirrels, and ice cream cones.

I am living my childhood dreams right here, right now. Thank you for being a part of my happy place!

xoxo

Absolutely Lisa. You made me smile with those memories. I too, was the adult so I know what you mean. I used to be a teddy bear artist. Still have all my supplies and maybe one day will get back to them as well. Thank you

Hey, me too! I was a very good angel as a kid - studious, etc. Now, I'm so burnt out from all that academia, that I'm the one who is cutting up in meetings, etc., and making all the three-piece-suited people laugh. It's fun. I'd rather finish up this way, than start that way and lose it.  affraid pig cheers sunny alien cyclops Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation Arrow Arrow Arrow Arrow Arrow Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Suspect Suspect Suspect cherry cherry cherry cherry farao farao geek geek geek jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor jocolor afro

Go for it, Fessie. Right now. Just click on that panel and run through the lilies - I mean, emoti-lillies - and pick them out randomly with wild abandon.

It clears your head, your heart, your sinuses, and blasts away any lingering debris from the work week.
