This is my first crack at painting a practice head, I found it pretty easy. The plastic is kind of rubbery and paint doesnt just run off like I expected...this is a Mardi Gras inspired butterfly Very Happy

I love it! I also love my practice head. It keeps me from waking my kids up in the middle of the night when I have an idea.

That came out nice! To add interest to your line work, you can vary the pressure on the brush in places, like on the inside of curves... Very Happy

Thanks Miss Ronnie Very Happy I will definitely play with that! I hope to someday have as much fantabulous face painting knowledge to share as most of the others here...right now I will just suck up as much of it as I can! Very greatful for this site, my whole family is lol they don't have to be constantly under my brush or listening to all my painting ideas now. My hubby tries to follow it all but I know he can only hear it so much..
.besides he let me pass on that cheap director chair. I need not follow to much of his advice on things haha!

Practice heads are best friends, I have a full family of 4, mom, dad and two kids, I draw the design in paper, then paint the practice head, and then when my daughter lets me, paint on her, some times I have willing models that I paint without practicing first on the plastic head and they don't turn out good.
