Re: Avatar Movie
Tried an angry one, but ended up flipping the image since I did not have the time making the eyes look the same. Have to find a model trying the design on!
Re: Avatar Movie
Wow! That's awesome LoneWolf! I thought of doing the eyes on the lids, but it's kinda challenging doing that on yourself. Good job!

Re: Avatar Movie
Lone always takes it to a dark and sinister place.... with some powerful awesome skills. I love the detailed wrinkles on the nose. I have got to learn how to do that.
Re: Avatar Movie
Love those expressive wrinkles, too! You are so gifted LoneWolf, and it really shows on your most recient innovative pushme-pullyous & Avatar photos, so saying they are awesome is really an understatement. Definatly have the WOW factor!

Re: Avatar Movie
Thank you. Well, everybody else was making nice versions, and I'm still practising painting open mouths. It is so hard, I think.
Re: Avatar Movie
So.... are we all changing our avatars to Avatars???
I think I missed the memo...

Alright, I give in.
I like it without the drawn eyes better, its hard to do on yourself.

Re: Avatar Movie
I like the way you painted the eyelashes on. Nice way to avoid fake eyelashes. I can never get those things on. I'm going to see the movie tomorrow night
Re: Avatar Movie
Mandi, it is looking good. =) Maybe with a bit of shadow under the head gear, so it look more 3D?
Re: Avatar Movie
Not sure I am going to see the movie... while I am a sci-fi fan, it really isn't appealing to me on any level... too much hype maybe.

Re: Avatar Movie
It is more a "Dances with Wolves", just with aliens.

Re: Avatar Movie
So a friend decided to photoshop out some of my wrinkles and fade out the background on my 'Avatar'...it motivated me to photoshop my eyes...they're actually blue in reality, but the yellow looks kinda cool I think.
Re: Avatar Movie
As long as you don't ad it to a facepaint competition and else say if it has been altered, when someone ask, I think a bit of photoshop is all right. Especially it is just around your painting, like the background.
Re: Avatar Movie
Thanks LoneWolfe, but I'm a looong way from any competitions I think I use Photoshop for my graphic design business and fun. I deleted my brother's ex-wife out of a family photo for example...LOL
