youtube has loads of tutorials. Not just the painting part but what kit to use and how to look after it etc. Even down to how to display your work, health and safety too.

there are a number of good face painters on YouTube who post tutorials on how to paint designs. they each have their own unique styles.

you can search for them on YouTube -
face paint forum (this forum)
