So, I have some horrible face paints and then some better snazaroo.....I would like to invest in some good quality paints, but I am scared to dole out big$ on paints I am unsure of. What is the recommendations?

Go with Paradasie, Snaz for bases and DFX white for line work.

I use Snaz for most of my white bases, sometimes Kryolan. The rest are chosen by colour and quality as each colour within each brand works slightly differently... but generally, I have a LOT of Kryolan for the Interferenz colours, the bright shades of blue, orange, purple, green, pinks; Snaz for bright red, yellow ochre, brown, black and all the sparkle colours; Grimas for the pearl colours and teal, some pretty greens, pinks, burgundy and a nice purple; Wolfe white, black, gold, red and the UV colours... I've got a bunch of new DFX but haven't used it yet so can't comment.
