I have them, personally I don't like them much. After a couple of washings they seem to fall apart at the edges.. I'm talking about after 5-6 washes. They are easy to find and affordable, so that's a plus...

Yup, Vegas Mom hit it on the nose. They're pretty cheap, but they fall apart very quickly. On the other hand, once they're ragged, they're good for stippling on color and dragging color to make fur lines.

Boe I've used those same exact sponges before and as already said they do break down very quickly. I am now using the FWW sponges and so far I love them they are so soft on the skin.

I had some of the sponges from Michaels and they were so stiff and scratchy. My son complained whenever I used them on his face. The FWW green are by far the best and they holdup very well.

Now if I could learn to lay color down like some of these other wonderful painters I'd be happy. Laughing

I've been using tack sponges, found mine at Tractor Supply, $8 a dozen. They seem to be holding up pretty well and lay down a good base. A good alternative to the pricier spounges

I currently use them. However, I do recycle them often. I am just more gentle with them when I wash them. If you got yours from Michaels, they also have a Snaz section with the Snaz sponges. I grab those instead for the most part. The price is the same, however the Snazaroo sponges come with 2 rather than 3 in a pack.

The snaz sponges soak less paint up after you've used them once. They are so dry in the package. You can try soaking it in warm water or use it more often. I am interested in trying others, but I have never had a major problem- not enough to make me switch anyway.
