My first henna belly

I've been dabbling in henna for a while now. I was excited when a pregnant friend asked if I could do her belly. Of course I said yes! We invited a few other gals over and had a wonderful evening of chatting and pampering. I love how henna brings women together to celebrate being who and what they are.

Gotta love the mehndi! Right now it's bridal and grad season with some facepaints tossed in there for fun! Tired, but happy!! Good job for your first bellies! Keep it up!!

Yup! I recognized the patterns from my book but I think you did a nice job of making them your own! They are meant to be used, reworked and to take inspiration! Hope you find the book very useful as it should grow with you and you will be able to take on the more technical patterns pretty quickly tho I think! Happy henna slinging!!
