It's the Arkansas Filet Knife Massacre!!!! Run, little spongies, run!!!!
Re: High Density Foam
Snazaroo have full red round sponges (sillyfarm stock them 10 for $9) and you just cut them in half (so you end up with 20pcs). They are smaller in size than the tag ones, and they are perfect for little faces (they are all i use).
You will also notice that the DFX rainbow runs the opposite way in the rectangle containers? these red sponges fit perfectly in them.

Re: High Density Foam
If I were going to pay that much for sponges, I'd get 10 of the FWW while Metina has the coupon going. They truly are awesome!

Re: High Density Foam
Maybe if you wan the larger ones but the snaz ones are smaller, that's why they are so cool, no trimming!

Re: High Density Foam
Don't mind trimming anything from paint to paintbrushes to sponges. And speaking of sponges and foam....my purchase at JoAnn's (.4 yard of high density foam on clearance for $4.50) yielded 198 half rounds! It was late last night when I finished their baths and left them to dry so I will try to post a pic either tonight or tomorrow night. Not quite as soft as my FWW but softer to the skin than my tack sponges! Thank you Linda!

Re: High Density Foam
Thank you again, Linda, for a great tip. Still prefer my FWW but these are softer than my tack sponges, take up and distribute the paint great, and clean well. Plus you can't thumb your nose at 198 songes for $4.50!
Good size for my paints as well.

Re: High Density Foam
Pretty!!!!!
Your welcome!
I did made a bunch for my church's Easter Egg Hunt since I didn't want to put my good sponges in volunteer hands (I'm glad I did since I saw a bunch of them blown away across the field). I'm still planning on buying a few more of the good sponges from Metina 'cause I love them & you can never have too many sponges

Re: High Density Foam
Totally agree on the never having too many sponges. Like you, I have a stash of stuff for "helpers" that won't make me weep if it gets messed up.
