Matha Stewart Foam Pouncer Set Empty Matha Stewart Foam Pouncer Set

Post by Psalmbook Wed Apr 25, 2012 11:55 am

This set is awesome. It's a high density foam in a plastic holder, but it comes out of it's holder. Unlike the pounces on a stick, these can be machine washed w/ your sponges so they are easier to clean/sanitize! Also, since they come out of their holder, you can use both sides of them, if needed. The cost is $5.99, so it comes out to about $1 each (and this is if you don't use a coupon:-).

I just bought two sets at Michael's! Got one with my 40% off coupon, then got 10% off my entire purchase. They are GREAT - I love them!

Thanks to you all for the suggestion!

Does anyone have trouble with the smallest one, fitting the sponge back in? I just bought a set and all the sponges go in easily but the smallest. Darn...

I just left mine out so I could use both ends. Smile Shannon and I are trying to come up with a use for the little cups. I guess she's got a whole bunch.

After the little people drink out of the cups, you can use them is dividers in a brush holder. In my set up, I use them to keep my little scissors separate from the brushes. I use a medicine cabinet organizer for my paint brush holder.
I do not use the little holders for the sponges. I tried to put the little one back, and it would not fit. It was like trying to push a cat into a toilet. Doesn't work. I did not want the bigger pouncers to feel left out, so I pulled all of them out their shells. I use one side, the other, and it gets tossed into the cleaning bucket.

Salut!

Wind chimes? Very tiny herb garden? Headless matryoshka dolls? Fang covers for wolves? Thumb sucking prevention? Nipple covers? LOL! There, that's FP related...well, not quite.

LOL! Lisa...Never tried to push a cat into a toilet! So you think all the other sponges wanted to be naked too? I know I do. It's hot here.

How about leaving water about the house in case aliens come from another world come to our planet (which is 70% water) and they are allergic to water and we figure that out and save the world. I would send a thank you note to Martha Stewart because she, again, saved the day.

Gerbil hard hats? Toe separators so you don't mess up your polish? Hors d'oeuvres holders so your guests don't dirty their fingers? That would make Martha happy.

I do not want to be naked. I live in the land of swirling snow and howling wolves... it is 22 degrees right now. (Celsius!) Ok, it is probably my children who do not want to see my naked.
Maybe I am anthropomorphizing my pouncers, yet I feel they are screaming to run around uncloaked in my kit.
Tiny egg cups for quail eggs?
Teeny vases for small bouquets.
Q-tip holder?
Toothpick holder?
Place to soak my earring backings?
Schnapps holder?

P.S. Just to be clear,
I have never tried to push a cat into a toilet.
Cats will always remember stuff like that and
would poop in my shoes.
