Getting henna over and over?

Slight question, I really love the look of henna! I'm hoping I can go get my first henna done in the next few weeks, I think I might be addicted after that

Are there any side effects or anything to getting henna redone? So say once my first starts to go away I go and get another, and repeat the process.

I'm not an expert yet but I think because it only goes into your dead skin layers you are fine unless you have G6PD. Here's a link.
