Sunburn in March!!!
Had a 4 hour gig yesterday and the weather was so beautiful (79 degrees F) that they set me up outside... wasn't expecting that but I was thrilled. Most of you don't know that Syracuse is (almost always) the snowiest city in the United States. This year, we still were... but we had a sissy winter. It is unheard of to have this kind of beautiful weather in March! I actually got a slight sunburn! Not too bad of one because was in the shade until the sun shifted for the last hour of the gig.
So many say that this is bad because it is due to global warming. Not true... we have had some brutal winters the last few years. Mother Nature balances things out for us as always. My 96 year old grandmother told me that the winter of 1932 was even lighter (snow-wise) and warmer than this one...

Absolutely love working outside in the spring, not so much in 101 temps, but a painter's got to do what a painter's got to do! Delighted you had such a wonderful day you are really working it in Syracuse. I'm loving this mild winter and the break in heating bills just might mean families have a little more cash.

The weather here has been amazing too! I live in Northern Ontario, and we usually have brutal winter. It's usually still snowy until April, but this weekend we were in the 20s! Tomorrow it's supposed to be 29 degrees... crazy!
