Painted a masquerade mask on myself!
Hi everyone
So I wanted to continue with my masquerade/party styles theme (continued from my lace glove in earlier thread) and came op with this lace mask. I wanted to try Daisy's technique with outlining the eye areas to really make them pop!
Daisy: I love your work and your a huge source of inspiration!
So here's what I came up with:
After taking pictures I wanted to add more details to see how it would work. I'm not to happy about the feather but at least I tried something new and different
Hope you like it and again please feel free to comment
Thanks
Helene

Did you use star blend to create the shadowy effect? The lace is amazing!

Re: Painted a masquerade mask on myself!
Thank you for all your nice comments:)
LoriSamson: no starblends just a damp brush with a little black on and then dragging the colours from the edge of the border and in.
The lace is actually really simple to do. it's just 3 little teardrops, a curve and then dots/very small lines on the edge. When you drag the colours it gives a nice shadowy, see-through effect:)
