Australia is a large place, where are you from?
We seem to have heaps of Aussies on the forum and more and more coming. I will see a post and then reply with where are you from? We are a proud bunch. So I thought we could have a post and all put in where we are from incase we need to get into contact/share stuff or whatever.
I am in Qld: half way between Brisbane and Gold Coast (just near Beenleigh on the way to Mt. Tamborine).

Re: Australia is a large place, where are you from?
I am from Lurnea/Casula the dividing suburb line runs through my house- we watch TV in Casula but Sleep in Lurnea - and the council and the postoffice disagree about what suburb we are in. we go with the post office so we get mail though, and to complicate the matter the dividing lines for 3 schools runs through my house- LOL
But for the sake of naming the closest possible known area Liverpool is 3km away and Sydney about 40km I think I am clasified as South West Sydney.

Re: Australia is a large place, where are you from?
Hey, I'm in Echuca Vic. Am on the border of Vic and NSW right on the beautiful Murray. Moama joins onto our town but it is technically in NSW. So (like Sue's crazy set up) sometimes we go interstate for fish and chips! Echuca is the Paddlesteamer capital of the world! Like the contact idea. I have been in touch with a couple of other Aussies on this forum and so far they have been really helpful and friendly.

I was in Jindabyne NSW..till I caught my sons dad having an affair last August and bailed to the coast. Now I'm with my folks in Kiama (2hrs south of Sydney) but that is hopefully only temporary, not sure where to next. Can I register as transient???

Re: Australia is a large place, where are you from?
Northern NSW... near Yamba. I would LOVE to jam. Partly because I like the sound of it, but mostly I'd like to spend time with other face painters in a friendly kind of way.

Re: Australia is a large place, where are you from?
Hi All, I'm in Hobart, Tassie, and been around the traps for a few years now. MishaJane I would love to hear from you, I am having a very friendly, informal jam at my place on the Eastern Shore in the next few weeks and we'd love to meet you. Have a look at my FB page Colour Me Dizzy and pm me. Tassie is very excited to be seeing some of the big names in fp/bp coming for workshops here. Love seeing all the Aussie influence on FPF.

hey - most of you know I"m in Sydney, but for those of you ore familiar with this city I"m in the inner-west - Dulwich Hill.. about 8kms for the CBD, I grew up in the eastern suburbs and am looking to move to Wollongbar, near Ballina and Lismore VERY soon.
Hopefully I will end up in a couple of years running my business from Surfers Paradise..... well in my dreams anyway.

Re: Australia is a large place, where are you from?
Tash, that's about 120km from Yamba, give or take. I occasionally get enquiries from up that way, but it's a little too far to be worthwhile. Let me know when you've settled in and I'm happy to refer.
Beautiful part of the world too. You are just going to love it. Great place to bring up kids. And the scenery/landscape is glorious.

Re: Australia is a large place, where are you from?
If you have any referrals for the gold coast or tweed areas let me, I would definitely love the work.
Re: Australia is a large place, where are you from?
I haven't yet Kylie, but I'll keep you in mind. Once I went through the whole quoting process to find out they were in Adelaide, SA. LOL. I looked up another artist on here and referred the job to her.
Re: Australia is a large place, where are you from?

Re: Australia is a large place, where are you from?
Hiya, I'm from the other side....WA. Perth, where we actually have Summer. ; )
Too far from pretty much everything and everywhere though : ( Oh well. Still happy here. If any of you go to the ABAA I'd like to know how good it is or isn't. Would like to go one year, but so much more cost involved from this end.
So far I've heard that maybe it's not really worth it ??
I'd love to move around more but my hubby and kids don't feel the same. So WA it is.
