200 Kids 2 Hours - Fish Camp.. need super quick designs

My friend who booked me for this event is a face painter that now works for the county and books face painters, so she has painted this event before and said for me to just do a simple fish and add googly eyes.. I really dont want to do the same thing on every kid, but there is not much time with this many kids.. With one stroke cakes I can whip out a simple fish in seconds, so can any of you help me with crazy fast fish designs. Pics or links would really help. Thanks!!

Also I just found out that they are doing it in 50 kid shifts and it will be longer than the 2 hours she originally told me so I think I will be fine. I should be good doing One Stroke (for great color) different shaped fish, with a dotter wand for bubbles and I'll do the google eyes as she suggested.. I still have a limited time per shift, I just hate not being able to get to all the kids, hurts my heart to see the sad faces. I want to paint them all....

use rainbowcakes and pouncers to make rainbowfish..add fins and a long tail...

Another idea is a stencil. If you had a couple different fish stencils, you could sponge on the shape in like a second, then add the outline, eyes, etc. Sillyfarm sells them, but they also sell stencil making supplies at Joann's and Michael's.

Also didnt even consider the stencils!! I will have to see what I have, I still might have time to order some if I need to..

I remember seeing a fish done with a mop sponge I think I saw it on youtube.

I think it would take me the same amount of time to paint eyes as to glue them on. That is if I put my glue back in the same spot every time and not have to scan my station for the tube!

I rocked this event.. I did no outlines or extra details other than glitter and the google eyes.. I used my glitter tattoo glue wand and it didnt take too long to add the eyes, (very windy that day). If I had an extra second I added a little sea grass (green and filbert were on steady stand by). The google eyes were different colors, shapes, some with lashes.. it gave a super simple fish that little extra pop.. The kids loved it any ways.. Most of the girls liked the "One Stroke" colors and it only took seconds to do a football shape with some fins, glitter, glue, eye done... it really was so fast.. I will have to get some pictures up.. I didnt have time to take any myself, but the event coordinator has some Im sure..

Thank you ladies, it was a lot of fun, it was so fast only had about 15-20 minuets per wave of kids.. passed out some cards and booked 2 events from it and lots of smiles.. Its so great to be able to really love what you do.

I love your fish! I saw this thread once before and came looking for it again because I have a new event 50+ kids in 2 hours, I normally do only full or half mask stuff in 5 or 6 minutes and my cheek art pretty much sucks. Your fish are great! The event I'm doing is called Tide Turners at the local mall, it's a free event for kids once a month and I'm doing it in trade for a spot at the mall's children's area, which is all aquatic based. Any suggestions in moving the kids through quickly as they pick and choose colors? Or did you basically pick up a brush and get started? Did you have a design board for them to choose from?
