no, the lace came from a scarf my sister bought for her little girl, but it was too much for the scarf, so she removed it. and we used it for our hats..and yes..it's foam..

we also have carnaval next weekend, but i had to paint and tried it out already!

Great job with both, the way you tied in the colors from the hat and the face were very good. The gold nose was a really nice touch with the eye bling. Very "hot" in a morbid way, just what you are looking for in a sugar skull!
