My Website is born! Went live today..check out out as I'd realy value feedback!

Well, after a few weeks of hard work I've actually got a website up. I'm pretty much a dunce when it comes to that kind of stuff and not really in a financial position to pay someone so my dad helped out. He's into computers but not a website builder or anything so would really welcome feedback. The gallery is still not finished - there are pictures that are supposed to link to galleries containing more pics but hopefully that will come within the week.

Very nice and looks very professional!

The only thing I saw was on the contact page, the email address is so light I could barely read it, but other than that, looks great!

That's funny Dawnie. I said that too - apparently cause all the links are that colour across the whole site he didn't know how to change it but since someone else said it too he had a go. Couldn't fix it so we've compromised and he's put it against a highlighted panel so it can be read.

Wow, So colorful! And, like Squiggle said, "Very professional." I think it looks great and can't wait until more pictures are up.
A few years ago my neice (about 7yrs old then) wanted a web page. I didn't know how to do that! But, I searched "kids designing web pages" or something similar to that. Well, I found quite a few sites for kids. My brother and I were able to design a web page for her! It was really neat, considering I'm sort of computer illiterate!

In the gallery, is each subject (face painting, henna, etc) supposed to link to more photos? I am only able to see the one photo under each subject title.

Pictures are coming. It's just taking longer than expected to resize them. Hopefully by early next week. So at the moment the links don't work but to will be a link through Te front pictures on the gallery also from the pics on the front page ;D

I had no clue and spent so many hours up till midnight reading reading reading. The whole process is mega time consuming! Managed a basic one, but still don't come up on google searches for face painters in my area : (

Ok my gallery is up now. We couldn't get it to do slide shows or to enlarge the pics properly for some reason so settled on the collage kind of layout till we figure that out. It made me realise how dodgy my photography skills are as most of my pics I didn't think were good enough and I just see all the errors on the ones I did choose but c'est la vie. I have a new camera I think I'll just have to learn to use it now!

That mirror you're holding on the 'about me' page... I have that one! Do you have a photo of the back I'd love to see the design!

I just drew a henna style design on the mirror with a black marker. It's almost rubbed off now so when it does I'll just do a new one. I also wrote Henna by Riana on it in case it goes wandering and needs to find it's way back.

Really love the background photo of the glitter! Congratulations on your new "baby"!

I love your website and feels it highlights also your henna (as well as face painting) which the facebook page didn't do justice. This has got it all- didn't want to comment until gallery was up.

have you asked the googlebots to visit your site and added your url?? I'm trying to do it now. I'm slightly confused but hoping it will bring me on to page 1 of google searches for my area....
