Re: MONSTER HIGH- Face painting designs
These are all great designs!
I had a Monster High party last weekend, but none of the girls wanted those designs. They all wanted animals or diva eyes!

Yep.... always the case, isn't it?!
painted these today
Had no idea really... took quick look at pics, butgirls seemed to love them Would have loved to thick outline the eyes then extend the lashes from the liner, but it was soooooo hot and I had about 40 kids to paint full faces in about 2 hours, so fast it was....

Re: MONSTER HIGH- Face painting designs
I had a Monster High party last weekend but I knew I couldn't get a decent full face (also I don't like those exaggerated eyebrows and lips they have). So I just adapted several different designs with the specific features of each doll (colours, supplements,...). So I painted many Draculaura masks with pink and black and a small heart and fangs, some Draculaura "diva eyes" (with cobwebs), some Lagoona Blue masks (with Ocean colours and scales and a pink flower), and some Deuce and Holt Hyde forehead designs (with green snakes and flames). I couldn´t take many pics, but here are a few ones:
Draculaura mask
Draculaura eye design
Lagoona mask and Holt Hyde flames (have to work on my flames, lol)
And, finally, this little man wanted a Draculaura eye design. His father told him to get a skull or a mummy but he really really WANTED A PINK DRACULAURA EYE DESIGN. He was sooo happy with it!

Here's a pic that I did for a Monster High party. This is of the logo. She smudged it a lot before the cake.

Re: MONSTER HIGH- Face painting designs
Thanks, Kat! I saw somewhere (I´m afraid I can't remember where...) a similar design and I tried to adapt it for my Draculaura

Re: MONSTER HIGH- Face painting designs
Wow!!! I had no idea there were so many characters, I got an order for a monster high cake this year (my other job), never even heard of it before. These faces are amazing!!!
Re: MONSTER HIGH- Face painting designs
Okay, I was stressing out about my first Monster High party and had visited this thread this morning but it turned out pretty well. I basically followed Katrina's advice and went with the "pretty makeup" look. I ended up using mica powders that I'd bought ages ago and hardly used and they were perfect. Those are the lilac, pink, bluish and then gold...and then some white setting powder that I put some shimmer over. The tealish green is the only one I used paint on...the others are Starblends and Ben Nye.
Anyway...I actually loved it. I think the mom's were happy that the girls still looked like themselves somewhat. My favorite is the snowflake and the little vampire. Can't wait for another go now that I've got my first out of the way.

Very cute Denise! Every gig I've been on all month there has been a request for monster high; I ordered some monster high stencils and they were my top seller this last Saturday! I like the idea of the powders vs paint for the foundation to tint the skin! Now to get some...

Re: MONSTER HIGH- Face painting designs
So this is what I came up with for the last issue of "¿Pintamos?", our Spanish F&B Painting magazine. We were trying to get some fast Monster High designs for Halloween, and we finally adapted their characteristics (colour, pet, jewels,...) to our usual designs (masks, butterflies, princess,...). Here are some pics:

Creative Pilareta. It's kind of like the face paint the characters would get if they went to a party.
Re: MONSTER HIGH- Face painting designs

This was after she had eaten and had messed it up a little, but you get the idea.
Re: MONSTER HIGH- Face painting designs
It looks like this is going to be the high demand for halloween this year, I have incorporated what I like from several face painters in this forum.
Re: MONSTER HIGH- Face painting designs
I love these, Arty. I enjoy your style of painting, simple but unique.
