2 things to share

Hey, Y'all. I havent been posting much, and even less lately because I usually look at the forum from work and they recently put on a filter that blocks most of the pictures :-(
Anyway, I have 2 reasons I'm posting. The first and by far most important is to request your prayers: my father is in intensive care due to a dissected aortic aneurysm- his surgery was 1 week ago (last thursday night from 11 pm until 8 am friday morning) and he is still not keeping his blood oxygen level regulated well enough that they can take him off of forced ventilation. He's under heavy sedation and hasn't been awake since before surgery.
The other thing is that I have some time to kill here at the hospital when ICU visiting hours are closed, so I decided to finally post on here the face I painted on myself at work on Halloween, just for fun.

First of all: I'll light a candle of hope for your father!!

Hey, thank you all so much for the kind words. Dad is doing somewhat better- he is off the ventilator which is a HUGE step. He is no longer being sedated but is still extremely confused and sleepy. We cannot yet tell whether this is just an after-effect of so much sedation and a long time with no stimulation, or if it might be neurological effects from the blood loss/surgeries (he had 4 surgeries in all, and all told at this point has recieved about 30 units of blood products).
