I'm lucky that my parents still live in Canada so I get 2 Thanksgivings. LoL This year my husband tried a new recipe for the turkey and it was the best EVER! He made a brine and the turkey was so juicy and delicious. We may try it again for Christmas!

Aww bummer! I think thanks giving should be a universal holiday to thank our friend, family, God, & life* oh my, Janb I feel the same the buttons on my jeans can't hold anything anymore!!! Flopsietheclown! U should send me some cyber turkey!!! I gotta say! My mother is an outstanding cook! & well not to flatter my self but.... So am I Smile hehehhe* Razz

We fry them, they are super juicy and delicous. The best part is that my husband does the cooking, I just make the side dishes. I double cook on Thanks giving, and freeze it for Christmas...now I am done for the year.

Hope everyone had a good one!

Do Ausies eat Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie? We need to import some for you guys...delicious!
