Do a search on this forum for "practice heads" and it will give you all kinds of information. That's what they all have been saying about the hairspray. But you will learn more also.

So true, Jan and most importantly how to clean them. I had no idea there are so many ways to do it until I did designs using DFX rainbow & JestPaint instead of Snaz that comes rite off with soap & water. The heads were really stained until someone suggested using pure acetone (walmart $1.99) and it worked great on the DFX!

I tried all kinds of cleaners, https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.252707618089209.82344.213634998663138&type=3 but even the past DFX stains were gone with acetone!

But with repeated cleaning - even using acetone, JestPaint yellow & metallic pink left stains, even on my 'skin' sheet! Photos of original designs in the JestPaint review album on https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.272712949436166.68596.200826496624812&type=3

Sometimes stains are unavoidable, which is why vendors warn that Wolfe will stain heads. I just wish I knew about other paints that will stain practice heads.
