Kudos to my daughter

Based soley on her talent, she has booked two parties. She is a little nervous, because even though I will obviously be there physically, I am letting her take the lead and have the spotlight on her. I of course will handle the contract/deposit end of it but I want her to get used to speaking with the client and demonstrating proper phone ettiquette and conducting herself professionally on the day of the event.

She asked me to see if they want a facepainter too, because she doesn't want me left out. I told her no that she got these gigs based on her ability. The gigs came from people who had seen her in action at prior events.

This is her time to shine and I am more than happy to step back and let her have her moment.

I truly am proud of her, she is a good student, has a great work ethic both with homework and twisting, she is responsible with the money she earns. I tell you to be 12 and balance school, homework, being on the karate tournament team, singing in the choir, being an acolyte and an usher, praise dancing and balloon twisting working events with me.

Wow!!!!..... She is truly an awesome kid.

Yay for her---isn't it awesome to watch our kids come into their own?!

Amira, I am sure she would love to get together with you, especially since she has been hinting around that she wants to start dressing in clown. When we were in the halloween store she was talking about how she would like to look.

She will have days off from school coming up between now and the holidays maybe we can try to get together. I always welcome your company.

Will you be able to come to this months jam??? They moved it up a week so as to not interfere with people's Thanksgiving plans.

I'm trying to work out the details. If my husband leaves work on time, I most likely will be there.

This weekend is Harrisburg the Mid-Atlantic Clown Association is having a convention. My favorite clown costume designer Priscilla Mooseburger will be there. She can customize a costume any way you like. I got a new one at the ClownFest in Seaside this year. It was just under $300 but the last one I bought from her in 2003 still looks terrific. Well worth it once if you wear it often like I do. Plus there are lots of other vendors there too!
