Hey Daizy, would you mind sharing how you manage to get the paints so INCREDIBLY SHEER on the pics I see of your little one? (Holy cow, that's a beautiful child, by the way.)
I have tried a lighter hand, less paint, more water, and still can't get that soft and sheer look that you achieve in your paintings.
Tips?

OK, I am not Daizy, & didn't see the pic you're referring to, but I fell in love with TAG pearl white for a sheen that applied easily. I want to invest in some more of their pearls to see if it is brand-specific, it was almost like an interfereze from Kryolan, but cheaper. if that helps at all...

Re: Daizy Design
I don't think I have a specific technique for getting my paints so sheer, Its just how they come out. I usually only use a brush which may be part of it.
A lot of it would come down to the paints I use.... A few of my favourites for bases are snazaroo sparkle pink and light green, and a lot of metalics....
Did you have any particular pics that you were talking about?

The color looks so amazingly light and sheer on her skin... mine always come out VERY opaque no matter what I do.
Re: Daizy Design
What kind of sponge are you using? I find a firmer sponge with less moisture works better for blending out like that for me...
