I'd like to wish everyone a great Halloween weekend with lots of faces to paint and would like to use the opportunity to share my latest creation with you. (constructive critizism welcome)

I LOVE the zipper effect! Well done job!
Maybe I would try to blend the zipper to the skin, with some shadow or something?

I didn't even think of blending the zipper in, great idea, thanks. I will try that next time.
I did think of adding red for blood, but only later. Good thing I didn't this time, I had to take my daughter to her gym class and no time to wash it off before leaving. Even though I only was there for a minute or two, I was told upon picking her up that some of the smaller kids got a little scared. But yes, i guess for the bigger ones blood would be a must. hehehe Twisted Evil

GREAT Idea! I love zippers. I have several myself.

Thing I found that makes it easier is to cut ALL the fabric off the zipper. Then adhere the zipper to the face... then you dont have to blend the zipper into the face.

ready, set, Halloween! Hallow10

cant wait to see your next one!

p.s. this picture is me wearing it after having in on for 10 hours....so the zipper stopped sticking to my cheek because of chewing food.

and having a zipper on with liquid latex for 10 hours when your allergic to some types of latex gives you a rash for ....ummmm 3 days now. Smile

I think cutting off all the fabric only works for metal zippers...the nylon/plastic one spring apart. I think the zippered skeleton face is very effective without any shading...just a dramatic contrast.... That's SUCH an effective eye too Manabanana!!! Wow...
