Judging by your avatar, I really don't recommend it. I know a lot of people have good things to say about snazaroo products and classes but I disagree. I took a class at FABAIC taught by the owner of Snazaroo I believe and it was atrocious. Line work was very quick and sloppy, blending was messy. It was a 3-minutes design class and it was not worth missing other classes so I left in the middle of it. I am really disappointed by the way snazaroo operates. Their web design alone is very amateur and you would think with all the money they make and classes they offer they would hold themselves to a higher standard. /:

hmmm very interesting.. i have worked with some snaz in the past, but my local store who have offered me a fulltime position are interested in myself teaching these class's.. well this is what im thinking. i do think it all depends on the person behind the brush and to weather they have passion or not. but i need to feel comfortable with the product i use, i would kinda feel bad, being the girl who looovvveeess TAG products but had to promote snaz like im madley in love with it. i dont bloody know its all to confusing!! but selling snaz as a fulltime job vs working at a structual/cilvil engineering firm seems alot more fun! i really need opinions!

Snazaroo US workshops are taught by Gary Cole. Gary is a production painter... he is the World Record Holder for most faces painted in one hour (216!) His style is basic fast painting using exclusively Snaz products and equipment.

On this link are quite a few examples of his painting http://www.snazaroo.us/top15.htm

I agree that based on your avatar you are way past the level that Snazaroo workshops teach.

It's not the product that makes the artist. You can work your way through anything even if you're not familiar with it or don't even like it.

And starting with a beginning class I feel as thought emphasis should not be on speed as it should be on skill. Teach the basics to understanding quality face paintings and let the individuals work on speed themselves. Very Happy

Thankyou so much for your advice, its much appreciated, my mind is going crazy, not to mention how scarey it would be to stand in front of a class to teach people. i have done a little research in their class's and yes they are very basic, i wont be learning from them, but im guessing they will want to teach me their methods of teaching perhaps? i really dont know. it does seem like it could be really fun, and i will get to have a good go at all the products not to mention the discount lol.

No one will ever post photos... there are judges there from Guiness when they go at the record.. .they have to use at least three colours, I think, and it has to pass the What is it? test. But there isn't any finesse...

Hahaha im not suprised there are no photos... now if i can just find 217 kids im up for the challenge! LOL

oh goodness Derivan! i reckon most australias would have all tried that one and failed! the thing is chantel the fairy makes the paint look so bloody wonderful in her book.. i just dont get it. i wonder weather chantel uses better products now that there are so many more on the market.

i'm pretty sure i will take the job, i was a little intimidated at first, thinking maybe i wasnt good enough to be teaching but after looking at photos I AM! tongue after all i will be teaching the basics. anyone who is advanced prob wouldnt even bother taking the class Smile it could be alot of fun!

I have done a snaz approved course, and I tell you its all about the teacher and what they teach. Very basics blending, basic strokes, hyginege---BIG on that in the class. Basic butterfly, one stroke design.. 5 hrs later thats was it. $165 for the class and I didnt think too much of it to be honest. Not enough tutition for the money. Barely painted.. spent 1 hr on role playing sitting someone in the chair!! Evil or Very Mad Anyway, you will be fine, the products are good. Teach what you know, your excellent cheers cheers cheers PM if you want to know any more.

http://www.facepaintforum.com/t5035-derivan-face-body-painthelp?highlight=derivan

she still uses derivan i'm thinking.

I would say give it a go gorjessfaces, you may improve on the teachings for Snazaroo, and you will have lots of fun, not to mention the discounts on paints and Hey!!! Snazz paints are really nice to use, not as vibrant as others, but very useable.
