Ok, so my last gig was an 'ice cream social' for my TKD center....

I wanted something fun and fanciful *for my face design to wear to the event* so I tried the Wolfe brother's 'Big Cat Mask'...toooo cute! However, the next day the yellow lingered on my cheeks and everyone thought I had bruises! hahaha

And Angie...I did your butterfly again, this time with a rainbow cake and the girls LOVED it!! Very Happy

For the teens I did it with metallic paints and gold glitter gel dots. They went nuts over it! Very Happy

But the best picture of the day was of these two sisters....they were just glowing! Very Happy

Heather, would you allow me to use a version of your tigers for our patriot day at church this week? I tried to create my own before I saw yours and they were really crappy.

Eva,

Oh gee..anything I post is TOTALLY ok for anyone wanting to 'copy' for personal use and duplicate for there own stuff!! Very Happy

It would be best if you have time to paint it yourself for your own picture to display....

However, if you are wanting to use one of my photo pictures for an example on your display board, then you will need to use the one with my face, as I can give you permission to use it. All the others only I have permission from the parents to use them for my own displays.

If you want to use the one with my face, that's cool. Just give me 'painted by' credit! There is a larger file of my avatar on my website if you want to download for printing.

That tiger was done with a Sillyfarm 'Red, white and blue' rainbow cake.

Load the flat side of a round sponge you have cut in half, so you have red and blue on the ends, and white in the middle.

I start at the top of the forhead and drag it right down over the eye and then kinda pull the red out to contour the cheek and then back towards the chin to give it more shaping. Then I dab in the side of the head with the blue end and re swipe the eye area if needed with same sponge.

Reload and do the other side. At this point you have the entire center area still empty. I just grab another sponge and load just white and swipe straight down the center, filling in to red on both sides.

This goes on soooooo fast! Like maybe 1.5 minutes. Then I just do the black line work over it and you are done. I have this design down to about 4 minutes, including whisker dots and fangs! I also play around with the line work a bit to vary them since I had so many of them walking around!

Thank you for the compliments!! Very Happy

This is a keeper design for me. I'm working on a rainbow cake with red, then a bronzy gold and then a deeper orange on the outer edge. Then I will swipe the bronzy gold down the center after having done each side with the rainbow cake and then I can get right into my line work fairly quickly. Makes a fancy looking tiger that is actually really fast.

Blue, white and a nice dark green would look good, with white again down the center. Mark Reid has a few blue/green tigers that look cool.
