What are Oktoberfest themed faces? Help please

All right have been booked for an Oktoberfest event this weekend, It is PPF but out of my region and doing it for an event company who are desperate and have 10 events 3KM down the road for me next year.
There face painter is in hospital, I have no idea who she is. But have been asked to do $5 faces for 2 days. No more no less than $5. Next year in my own area I get to do as I like, but for now I have to do as she dose. It is there way of retaining painters apparently. Either way they have informed me that she did Oktoberfest themed masks Blue and white or green and white. I honestly didn’t know that Oktoberfest had a theme. The face painter doesn’t have a website so I have no idea of what she has been doing.
I have never done PPF at a festival just at a dank old market (which is hardly the same I was just happy to paint- anything) out of a book/album never done Oktoberfest theme? Couldn’t find an Oktoberfest thread. I have been warned I am the only children’s entertainment there, and security had to end the line in previous years.

For board so far Butterfly, Spiderman, flowers, fairy mask, Monster, Dragon mask, Dolphins, Tiger, Vampire, Avatar, Princess, Snake, Lion.
Are these $5 faces, what makes a face $5. And what is a $5 Oktoberfest themed face? And any more suggestions for board

I feel like an idiot not knowing this Oktoberfest face thing, I have 3 days to sort this out – She wants boards so, making boards now typing while paint is drying.

Isn't it a German holiday? Lots of beer. Girls serving beer in winch costumes? "Ricola" looking men everywhere?

It is not a holiday so much as a giant fun fair. Blue and white ar the colours of the region of Bavaria, so I would recommend using those colours. I will see if I can find you some links.

A five dollar face is one you can do in under 5 minutes. That means 5 minutes total with the customer, from the time the kid enters the booth till the time you have the $ in your hand. I would stick to half face versions of the designs you have (loose the Avatar maybe?) And think SIMPLE. look at some of the boards on the forum.

As for an Oktoberfest mask: maybe do the colors of the German flag (black,red,yellow) and then embelish with what looks like the fancy embroidery that they have on the apron bibs- Wheat and flowers.

generally, Pretzels, Beer, Musik, Lederhosen, Dirndl (traditional Bavarian dress), Saussages are all things related to Oktoberfest.

Good Idea to encorporate the german flag, but I would not use it so much as the blue-white or green-white, as Oktoberfest is a regional (Bavaria) thing and not celebrated everywhere throughout Germany.

Also, think about wiener dogs, maybe a blue and white diamond mask, and general fall things like pumpkins, fall leaves, etc. (there was an awesome thread recently with pretty autumn leaf eye designs).

A big Pretzel mask would be good! You could make them in many colors, use a large filbert and have the eyes peek out the holes, while the top round part of the pretzel goes over the forehead. Use glitter as your "salt."

Do a few little hearts, one stroke flowers, one stroke pumpkins, and put up all your quick designs for the usual stuff because even if it is an Oktoberfest, you will still need spiderman, butterflies, tigers, kitties and dogies!

Thanks for the tips so far, especially explaining why it is blue and white etc. It was geting to me as I knew the german flag and was dumbfounded at the blue thing.
Like the clip art, most of the stuff I google contained Beer and prezels. And I didn't think even though I'm sure I could have fun with that that the kids would like it.
Think I need a non sucky puppy- I hate puppys, have been looking at threads, trying and still suck at dogs- cats I like.
I am going to chalk in the names of designs as given alcohol that will be present, I don't want to be held to doing it exactly by some over the limit parent. I don't know what to expect so thought this safer. I'm getting a bit nervous of the Idea of having to have security to end the line, and get me out this sounds crazy.
Will practice autumn theme but I don't know if it will be missed being spring in Australia. But if I don't practice I know I will be asked.

so although I could say a blue and white swirls and curls mask here and everyone would get it. How would you write that for the general public to understand?
