White Starblend Empty White Starblend

Post by Smiletime Sun Oct 02, 2011 8:23 pm

I had the orange and red starblends and love them for quick bases. I thought I would get the white for skulls, zombies, and spiderman, but I can't get the white to work at all. I've tried 3 different kinds of applicators, but I can barely tell there is anything on there at all. Is there anything besides a smoothie blender I can use? I don't plan to make any orders anytime in the near future and I don't want to order just one thing.

Try one of the sponge brush applicators from the craft store, the black ones on a stick that cost about a quarter.

It is funny, I have the opposite problem, my white works great, but I can't seem to get the red going for spiderman....

My white was the same- now that I have used it more it is a little better - Wal-mart sell 3 packs of the round powder applicators those work much faster than the smoothie for full faces.

Do you use the spong type, or the regular velvety kind of puff? Never thought of those!

I have a couple of the sponge applicators, I'll have to try that. If that doesn't work, I'll have to buy the make-up applicators. thanks for the info.

Thank you so much...I knew I would find the answer on here. I ran to the store and picked up a 3 pack of the round, velvety make-up applicator pads and they work like a charm!!! This should make my skulls so much faster!!

Make sure none of them got wet... Once they get wet (i accidentally spritzed one of mine) you wont be able to really get any powder on the applicator. You will have to scrape off with a razor or something to get down to the pressed powder again.

Love mine! The red, white, and black work fine for me. I've heard some skins don't take to it as well as others.
