Shameless promoting lol

Soooo, I'm going to the NY state fair today, equipped with my face already painted and LOTS of business cards, hoping to hand some out. Has anybody done that before at a fair before? I know some of you paint up and go shopping, which I totally plan on doing as well...such a great promotion idea!!! I stopped at the gas station after my birthday party yesterday all painted up and was asked if I just got back from the fair..it felt so good to say nope, did it myself, I'm a face painter..and the wow reaction from people is the best! lol... I couldn't afford to work the fair this year if I tried, but I also plan on talking to the face painter in the kids section about what they charge them to be there. Hope it isn't too forward of me, but I don't know of any other way to find out.
