Re: What cant you get enough of?
Seriously though, I have about 20 Arty cakes on my wish list. Their colour combos are delicious.
And Ben Nye Lumiere (loose) powders. I want all 21. Now.
I just got the Mehron metallic mixing powders (& mixing liquid) and I can't wait to play more with that. It's unreal.
More butterfly brushes too! I made my first one today and I was pleased with how it turned out. I'll be going back for more fan brushes to experiment with a variety of styles and shapes.

Re: What cant you get enough of?
Can you please share pics.. I want to see and the merhon powders.. is that like eye shadow with water that makes a nice paint?? I went into a mask store they other day, with kids and she showed me but I didnt have time to really look cause of the kids!!
Re: What cant you get enough of?
Sure. I have a wedding to go to tomorrow but soon.
Yes, it is just like you described. It's loose powder that you mix with a mixing liquid and it becomes paint and looks just exactly like hot, melted gold (& silver). I've heard people say that they mix it in or over their gray and it looks more like silver. I haven't tried that yet. I could let you know though. Or maybe someone else reading this can share that experience?
The Lumieres (which are on my wish list) are also loose powders that you mix with a mixing liquid but also have the option to just use with water as an alternative. OR they can go on as just powder, with still a lot of pop! And shimmer. Great for makeup or a subtle glow on your skin. I've also heard of them put on similar to a Star Blends (not sure of exact name?) powder on top of wet paint, to sort of set it and add an intense hit of colour.
My daughter wants to go as the warrior goddess Athena for Halloween and I thought (besides a Mehron liquid gold upper arm band) I'd put the Ben Nye Lumiere shimmer gold (on dry) all over her face, neck, and arms to give her that ethereal quality.
But I'll get you pics of the metallic mixing powder in action as soon as I can.
Unless someone beats me to it....

Re: What cant you get enough of?
I cant get enough one-stroke split cakes...love 'em! Totally addicted to making and buying them. Also seem to buy a lot of sponges, large rainbow splits and for some reason, plain old white gets used up really quick!
Oh and baby wipes. Cant get enough baby wipes.

Ummmmm....MONEY!!!!! How else could I buy all the PAINT, PAINT, PAINT!!!!?
Re: What cant you get enough of?
I use Ben Nye Lumiere Palette & Starblend Powders. They go on line eyeshadow & work great for hot & humid conditions. They're used as a base(and the browns & blacks are great for shadowing). Then you use your favorite paint for the linework.

Hi, can you share what you have done with your brushes and what shape they produce?? That sounds fun!
Re: What cant you get enough of?

Re: What cant you get enough of?
Brushes. . . I love them! I also love split cakes and rainbow cakes. I seem to go through actual rainbow one stroke cakes pretty fast, and ones that have pink and purple go quick. If I had to pick one paint that is my favorite, it's the Wolfe Metallic White because I can use it to give any color a metallic look which is awesome!
I haven't tried the powders yet, but they do look realy cool!
