Lurker from Toronto
Hey All you Canadian Face Painters! I have been lurking on this website for quite a while, inspired and amazed by level of art work shown here. Intimidating and Inspirational is what I would call this place.
I have been volunteering at SickKids Hospital in Toronto since October 31, 1998, Kids have asked for the weirdest things, that have challenged me as an artist. eg.: Can you paint the Star Ship Enterprise on my chest from Star Trek? This was in the days before my iPhone with looking up anything anyone wishes.
I keep looking at the addresses on the new people joining, and I notice that there is no city given...am I the only facepainter in all of Toronto? I am so interested in meeting up with my fellow face transformationers. (Um, face painter rolls off the tongue much better than face transformers!) Wouldn't it be great is all of us post our closest major city so that we can all arrange meet ups and jams?
I will still be scared and intimidated to meet anyone from Toronto. I have been stalking my fellow Canadian facepainter, Shannon Fennell. Don't tell her. I admire her work so much, even if she will not take my husband in trade as a practice head for her fake DFX paint.
xoxo

Are there any fellow Torontoites out there?
