I've been practicing.... Lots of pictures...
So, I am down with my back, and awaiting an MRI, so I am spending a lot of time with my practice head, Ms. Nicole. I have painted for 25 years, but still am not someone who can "see" a design and get it to look right out of my head, so this was exciting for me. I enjoyed using some I found from my inspiration file and playing with them. I tried really hard to change them up and make them my own. PS... Big Thank you to Daizy for the penquin inspiration (and permission) ... The others I can't credit, because I got them from my inspiration file from Google. Thanks! (I am really proud of my little lady lioness... I really spent some time with her! That was fun!) Not entirely happy with the unicorn wings, but it is a work in progress! Tracy

Good Job!!!
I hope that everything goes good with the MRI, and that the results either help figure things out or are just good news altogether!! I also hope that your back is doing better soon, may you recover soon!!! Until then practice practice practice!!!

Interesting designs! I understand back issues, so I really hope you recover soon. Question --- how do you clean the paint off? I have tried alcohol, soap and water, wipes... nothing works... someone said acetone, but I am not comfortable with that -- so what do you do? Best to you.

Thanks so much... MRI tomorrow. I am stupid excited to get that done. I have had about all the fun I can handle right now. lol
As far as the mannequin, it took some time to figure it out. In some of my pics she is silver metallic, bc my daughter decided to do a cow face on her, and she was stained SOLID black when I got her the next morning, so I painted her with Wolfe metallic white.... and silver was the result! lol I raided the garage and found a bottle of tire cleaner, for my car's tires. It is called Tire Wet, by Black Magic. I took that and a green/yellow Scott Bright sponge and scrubbed the mess out of her... Came out GREAT! Still some minor staining, but nothing like she was. I rinse it with Dawn after that to cut the oil in the tire cleaner a bit and she is ready to paint. Now I paint her, rinse her with water and really scrub her down about every 2-3 paintings. Hope that helps!
Thanks again for all the well wishes! Smiles! Tracy
