Re: I need a tent
I think most Americans use an EZY-UP
I use a Gezzbo pro which is very similar, if you search on amazon I'm sure you will see a million options. Just make sure you get a white one as colored ones will mess with your light and paint colors. Make sure it has sides you can attach in case of too much sun or wind and if it doesn't come with weights you will have to get sandbags or weights.
It shouldn't cost you more then $200 for a good one......
oh and make sure the bag that it goes in has wheels !!! because mine doesn't and I can't carry it to save my life it is soooooooo heavy.... I always make my man carry it.

Re: I need a tent
Made the mistake of buying a RED ez up. Whoops. Good thing we entertain a lot and can use it for that and camping! Check around, many stores are putting them on clearance right now. Sporting goods stores and places like Sears. I am thinking at this point I am gonna get a very small one that is super simple and light weight, as I've most often needed one for just me at private parties. Still have "big red" for the occasional fair:)

Re: I need a tent
I bought a cheap version off Ebay- only paid about $100 shipping included (I think the seller was peaktop) I'm not going to pretend like it's the best quality tent-- the EZ-Up brand is heavier and has thicker fabric- but it looks just the same. I've had it for a year and have had no problems at all and I'm sure it will last at least another year. Now, will it last 7 years- like my partner's EZ-up before the cat peed all over it? (sorry, there is just no way to salvage cat pee!) Probably not. But for the price (and this stage of my buisness) it fits my needs.

Re: I need a tent
I just saw an ad for Big Lots today with an 8x10 pop up tent on wheeled storage for $64! I've been hesitating on getting a tent after reading how others have had their unvented-top tents fly away in a gust of wind. The vented-top tents are several hundred dollars so out of the picture for me right now. I do know I will only buy a white tent since that is often required at festivals/markets/etc. and also I think colors could possibly affect painting/colored shadows inside the tent...any input on that anyone?
