Back Again!
Hey guys,
Sorry I've been absent for so long. Since I got back from my missions trip I have been pretty busy, so I haven't really been able to come onto the forum as much as I'd like.
I've also started a new blog that I have been wanting to start for a while. I thought that I would share it simply because the first tutorial that I posted is for a headband that you guys might like to try to make. It's simple and it holds your hair out of your face, which is good when you are face painting. I am going to make one in some funky colors to wear at my next gig.
I hope that all is well for all of you, and I look forward to getting back into the swing of things here on the forum.

Re: Back Again!
Welcome back! I'd love to hear you mission trip details! My 18 yr old is in Costa Rica right now on her mission trip. They're trusting her to help build a house
Re: Back Again!
That's where I went too!!!
Depending on where the house is, it might not really matter that it is a bunch of teenagers building it, so long as it is a house. In a lot of places there, people live in shacks made of aluminum, plywood, and whatever else they can find, so I am sure that the recipients of the home will be very grateful.
It's sad because so many people think that since Costa Rica is such a tourist attraction, the people there live like we do, but they really don't. The wealthy people in Costa Rica live like our lower middle class does.
Tell your daughter to have fun and make sure she wears bug spray (the mosquitos there are huge). I will try to post some pictures and share some stories sometime this week.

Re: Back Again!
I'd love to see pics. She brought heavy duty bug spray. She's in Alaguela, so no where near the tourist stuff. We have a Celebration Church campus there that has really taken off. Last time she was there they went into the park & took all the drug addicts and professional ladies to church. Almost all of them got saved any many are now turning their lives around & serving in the church. I've been in a lot of countries where there's nothing & it's just so sad. I love making a difference in the world & can't wait to go on the next missions trip!
