Is Wolfe White really all that?
I don't need white at the moment but when I next get a batch i was wondering about getting some Wolfe. At the moment I use TAG white and I find it ok but there just seems to be such a buzz about Wolfe. It is kinda harder to get here so I'll be basically paying postage to get just that from somewhere so I want it to be worth it. Is DFX just the same? Also I want to do some body painting with it too? TIA

Hey Riana,
Yes I personally feel that wolfe white is all that.. It holds it's own over other colours. Where as other whites IMO aren't really white enough over other colours. My kit is still in the car from my gig last night. I'll try & do an example for you later.

I have both DFX and wolfe white. The wolfe is thicker and can sometimes get a little hard to work with. I prefer DFX but if I am out of DFX I wwill defer to Wolfe. The other whites just don't even come close to being as good to me, especially when going over other colors and maintaining it's brightness and cleaner crisper lines.

I have to agree completely with Changing. I have both wolfe and DFX...I too find wolfe somewhat difficult to work with.
Re: Is Wolfe White really all that?
Here's a test I did for you. Using wolfe white versa's TAG white. You can really see the difference, how much more opaque the wolfe is. I personally don't have any trouble with wolfe white. Just load it & paint. I have tried DFX a long time ago & well I suppose evidence speaks for itself as I only use Wolfe for my line work now. I still use TAG white for a full face vampire say. But I do even prefer paradise white for a full face application, but I run out so I use my TAG.
I'm sure this visual will help.

I'd like to see a Wolfe and DFX photo comparison I've had trouble using Wolfe paints but I just think it's due to my inexperience with these types of paints.

I've used Wolfe and then switched to DFX. I just like it more. It's easier for me to work with.
