A taller portable table?
Does anyone know where to find a tall portable table? The one at Costco is 24" tall. I could make it work for the $50 price tag but I also want something high enough that most kids can't reach the top when standing near it. Maybe that's not something I need to worry about? Any wisdom or suggestions to share?

Re: A taller portable table?
Has anyone tried this table? It folds so would fit in the back of my vehicle and goes up to 36" tall which I believe is standard counter height...

Re: A taller portable table?
Sounds like you got a great deal!! Let us know how it works out for you. I saw one similar to this in walmart. It was smaller though!
Re: A taller portable table?
Usually a kind, but stern, "please step back away from the table" works for me. Of course, sometimes I have to say it a few times, but you give em' the mom voice and they know you mean business.

I love that table. I first used it a couple of weeks ago with another painter and it rocked. I will be getting one myself. Thanks for doing the research and finding the coupon.

So good to hear a positive review from a fellow fp'er!
I'll post pics of my set-up when it arrives.

Re: A taller portable table?
I got mine from Bass pro shop. I am 6ft tall and this table weighs only 15 lbs and easy to transport. It has it's own stand to hang a banner or sign. It is actually a camp kitchen and stands about 32 or 33 inches. See under this category my new table. Mickeyblue has pics of it in her gallery set up and I posted pics of it in its bag. I love that it is aluminum and black and goes really well with my tall aluminum and black directors chair
Re: A taller portable table?
I've seen that awesome table, sooo nice! I think it was out of my price range in my area, though, when I looked it up.
Wanted to report back how much I lurve this table! It is a bit of a pain to pop up and down because you have to work through the lower setting spring release nubs but I'm hoping that will get easier with time and use. Otherwise it is wonderful for the 36" height which is standard kitchen counter height, by the way.
It is 19 lbs but feels lighter to me, maybe I've been carrying kids around too many years, lol. I love how it folds in half and has a durable handle for super easy carrying. I'm playing with fabric coverings to hide the legs down to the ground level and so far two twin sheets work great or more likely what I'll do is one black twin sheet with my rainbow hibiscus outdoor tablecloth over that. Pics when I get it figured out and buy the black sheet(s)!
