be inspired by: The Elusive Ninja Ninja

If I wasn't on my way to bed - with no intentions of doing so with black facepaint or spend time washing it of - I would try it. Maybe tomorrow...

It might be good to do a mask only with the Japanese symbols above ala the Ninja Turtles....only black.

The Elusive Ninja Empty Re: The Elusive Ninja

Post by LoneWolf Mon Jun 06, 2011 5:37 am

My first Ninja try. I did take some step-by-steps, but I can not upload until I get the cable to connect to the computer (it takes too long uploading from the telephone). Think it is okay, but there are some things I would change. Firs ask the child if they want black all over. Maybe they just want a (Ninja turtle) mask or maybe a red band on their forehead is what they are looking for. Else I would rip the fabric more, to show more of the teeth.
But is was fun trying =)
(the symbol should say "Ninja", but it is a bit hard writing looking in a mirror!)

I finally had a chance to give it a try(and then the mailman came & I had to answer the door as a ninja Suspect )> HeeHee!
But, here's my take on it:
The Elusive Ninja Ninjat10
I tried writing the symbol for smoke w/ my glitter gel....

Scary! Would have loved seeing the mailman's reaction!
One thing I would say is try to make the wrinkles in softer shades - like light brown instead of white and a lighter colour brown - and look at real ones to see how they go. It is always better to see the real ones, than other peoples interpretations of it (:

Very Happy Hee Hee! Those are my real wrinkles... I scrunched up my face & tried to follow the lines... it didn't work real well(it does for my dragons).
I also tried to do it from the pic & not your design. I think I like how you brought the design in at the sides of the eyes better than how I did it.
It's still way better than those poor kids at the beginning of the post!
Thank you for the inspiration!

OK, is anyone else going to give the ninja a try?

Lone Wolfe, I showed your picture to my husband and said "this is what I want to be able to do one day," and he says I think you could do that. . .if you leave off the teeth, but it wouldn't look as good on you as it does on that guy" I had to convience him your wrinkles were paint! Lol! Fabulous Job!

Linda! I would have loved to see the look on the mailman's face too Smile
