next sunday...theme is children's books..we chose this cute children's poem book with the cutest drawings to complete the poems..

I made a little hat for it..



used foam, paper, fake fruit and polymerclay..

also made this little snale that will be hanging from her finger..

I love childrens books. This makes me want to read this one!

so tomorrow I have to get up at 6 and leave for the bodypaint at 7..I'm excited and anxious!! going through the design in my head over and over again...hope it'll turn out the way I'd like!
my sister will be wearing a blond afrowig, so I think we're gonna have fun all day over this!

How exciting Michelle. Are you going to Dongen? I would love to go there, just to watch all the painters, but my daughter has her theatre play tomorrow. I have to paint there and ofcourse I want to see her.

I worked alone..the only other painter working alone ended last place..
there were 2 good painters that paired up and offcourse won the contest!..

so I'm so freaking proud that I got 5 th place working on my own!!! it was hectic..6 hours, just eating and drinking in between and barely finished..(left out some detail and shading..)

Great work Michelle! And a very good result for working on your own. Isn't there somebody to assist you? So many painters in the south. Then you have more time to do the finishing touch. Good job, I love the colours and details.
And I agree freedspirit, I would like a bottom like that too. lol
