Breaking the ice
Hi all!
My name is Kristen and I'm a newbie face painter from Australia.
I have always loved watching face painters do their thing and transform kids into little works of art....it is something that I have always wanted to try but never really had the self confidence to have a crack at it.
The first face I ever painted was for my son, who wanted to be Mufasa from the Lion King, as his dress up for book week!! 1 set of face paints and some coloured hairspray from spotlight and 30 minutes that morning, sent my little boy off to school as happy as a clam. (Taking it off that night was a different story...major league staining! cheap nasty paints!!)
I joined the forum a while ago and pop in from time to time to be inspired and overwhelmed by the artistry and creativity of the members here. I have now bitten the bullet (so to speak!) and been inspired by a post from Angie to actually introduce myself and say hello....hopefully the courage to take (and post) photos of my practise efforts will follow shortly!
