So I'm about to submit my takes and Just getting in the final numbers for my business and milage. I'm hoping I wont have to pay too much Sad we'll see by the time i submit it. So afterwards I decided to update my excell sheet for this year's numbers/info and to compare to the previous year's income. Comparing Jan-Apr 2011 vs Jan-Apr 2010: I'm up 133% WHOOT WHOOT cheers I thought i was lagging behind b/c i hadnt been getting too many jobs just a few here and there, but I guess its b/c my price has gone higher ($80-120/hr vs $50-75/hr last year jan-apr) This is giving my high hopes for the summer as there are two festivals coming up paying me $500 each to be there for 5 hrs. cheers So then I wanted to compare Jan-Apr 2011 vs Jan-Dec 2010 (yes a full year) and im currently at 72%! Im happy that this there is income coming in, but now i've got to keep the expenses down lol

Yay, that's awesome!

I was kind of doing the same thing, haha, but by invoices instead of months. I just hit invoice #30 for this year, and compared to where I was at invoice #30 last year (BTW, I'm still a few days ahead, too!), I'm at 148%! Feels good Very Happy

But I hear you on keeping expenses down...I know I'm earning more this year right now (touch wood) but I'm also spending more...
