Mega Fotoshoot

As a make-up artist I also do make-up.
My husband got me into contact with a female photographer. She wanted to set something up. We had some appointments and it clicks. So we are going to work together and set up fotoshoots for women of all ages.
We do a test shoot on coming sunday with 6 ladys from 20 - 75.
It will be hard working but I'm looking forward to it.
Hope we can catch those ladys in a glamourous way!

I have to tell you about someone I met on a professional photographer's forum. He had a friend that owned a vintage consignment store, and he got together with a makeup artist, and had a ladies' night there at the store, set up a background, and did each lady in a different vintage outfit with makeup to match...he made a TON of money-and paid her for her time, and the consignment store made a lot of sales as well--Good luck with yours! it's definately worth it!

Have fun. A friend of my daughter's did this recently and had a fantastic day.

My daughter is a hair stylist/ makeup artist and she also works with a photographer once in awhile who mostly does pin up shoots, you know old hollywood glam style. She's done this to promote herself and photographer gets to do the same. Works out well.

Darlene, that's a wonderful idea maybe I'm gonna use it...
There are a lot of "make-up artists" here so everybody wants to get them for free.... or for TFP (time for print or cd) It's hard to compete and you'll sometimes even have to explain why you charge fee.
As if I get my education, tools, products and stuff for nothing.

Now sorting out the last stuff in my suitcase and beverages, chocolats, cookies etc for the ladies and have to get in bed soon so I'll be fit tomorrow!

It was a succes!
We worked from 9.00 - 17.30 so the fotographer and I where pretty tired, but what I've seen on the camera was great!
My sister doesn't use make-up much and I transformed her, she was like a glamour modell and did so well behind the camera. Her mouth fell open...

Everybody was happy and now it's waiting for the results!
Will be continued.
