What in the world kind of paint is that? LOL...that is a modern abstract style I actually watched a few of those this morning that they had done....hhhmmmm interesting.

Maybe I'm too much a newbie to know good art from wrong, but I like the effect of all the colours in stripes. I like the design and the idea behind it, allthough I don't know if he used the wright paint.

This really drives home for me the importance of learning proper techniques. This painter could improve her application by leaps and bounds if she just learned to hold her brush correctly, to use an anchor, and proper design flow. Some of her other videos show improved skills so maybe she is learning.

The only technique I see is fast money making!

every line should be deliberate, not just slapped on there for the heck of it. It's really awful and it seriously looks like craft paint.

When I first saw it I thought hmmmm artsy abstract butterfly so I said ok, she's not finished yet so it's gonna get better....few seconds later, ok still working but not getting better....few more seconds in, actually getting worse.....final take

Well...it's certainly colorful

I am no expert, thus I can not judge. But When I herd the mother exclaim "it so beautiful Chole" I thought beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder. I would have loved to see the childs reaction.
I have to say the glitter looked to thick to be cosmetic grade

It really looked like it had some potential & the artist just didn't know when to stop. It also looked like they didn't understand that quick flips of the brush don't work well on a face(that works much better on a flat surface, like canvas).
I'm curious to know if the paint was face paints or something else... acrylic.... craft paint....

I looked at the youtube channel and it looks like he or she goes around filming various things. The video was not made by or for the face painter, but someone who just wanted to tape someone getting face painted in central park. There are several different face painters painting on her channel.

Im new at this myself and even I know better then this. But you cant knock no one for trying.

This is either a true artist with the wrong canvas or a sucker born every minute. Maybe both.

Maybe she's doing it as a tribute to Jackson Pollock...

Splatter painted faces!

I don't mind the abstract design of swirls, kinda cool 'personalized' touch, I guess...I do mind if she's using non-facepaints though and that glitter sure looks like scratchy craft stuff to me :S

I'm scared to watch!

Very... colourful, and given that kids are often ecstatic with craft paint slapped on by a volunteer teenager, she probably has many happy children going through.

In one of the other videos the painter leans into camera range and her face is painted in exactly the same style as her vict.. err..clients, so I guess they go in knowing what they're getting!

I actually think she could do really beautiful work with the right products and technique. They are pretty designs considering the technique and paints she is using.
