I was thinking about ordering a custom stamp (to stamp on the hands of kids) that my assistant can use at large PPF events. She collects the money and sometimes there is some confusion with who has paid and who hasn't. Does anyone else do something like this? or a sticker? What works for you?

We've used tickets in the past. At the time, our prices were $5, $10 and $15, so each ticket was worth $5, and they would either hand me one, two or three of them. That way I'd know what price tier they'd purchased, but wouldn't have to worry about taking money or making change. This was nice too because I could go home and count about how many faces I'd done that day.

So far, at the 'donate/ppf' gigs I've had...we just take the money right as they sit down. Then I don't worry about them having paid and then we run out of time.

But if I had an assistant to take money (Whoot that'd be nice!!) I would probaby do the 'layer' ticket thing. ie, red ticket is a $5.00 face, blue ticket is a $8.00 face...and so on.

Hopefully the 'assistant' taking the money could judge the line really well and stop taking money about the right time to 'close the line'. Very Happy (My biggest fear).

Good luck with that!

I've only done ppf and I always have the kids pay as they sit down- even if I have someone else handling the money, that makes things easier for me. A stamp is a nifty idea though Very Happy

I'm not much help I'm afraid Laughing
