St. Patrick's Day designs for upcoming gig!
I just booked a St. Patty's Day Gig at a local Irish Restaurant and have a few designs up my sleeve. I worked on one last night at a jam and plan on making some modifications to it, so here goes. Does anyone care to share their suggestions/ ideas for quick and fun designs? I have to do some more research and play around with some design ideas for men as well as women - I'm excited I got the gig!
I appreciate your feedback!

This is just a pic that I took of my daughter when I was practicing clovers the other day. Not much, just clovers, teardrops, & dots, but that's all I got!! LOL Hope it helps!

Last year I did one big ol' shamrock on my son's eye and he thought he looked like a big tough guy with his one Irish eye. I don't have a picture though but the boys in his class were jealous. It looked so cute topped off with his scally cap

I think there was a video last year on silly farm about making celtic knots?

Thanks guys for the great suggestions. Audrey, did you use a split cake on your shamrocks?

I did this one the other day from a tattoo deisgn. I think it's a pretty one for the girls, but might be kinda fidly at a restaurant gig, although you could def simplify it.
Re: St. Patrick's Day designs for upcoming gig!
Gamezgirl from the forum came up with this leprechaun by modifying a 'Santa' design and I recreated it here...
Here's a modified 'Diva Eyes' using an Irish flag coloured split cake and shamrocks and then the classic pot o' gold:
This little guy just wanted a full face shamrock!

I just looked up where I got the inspiration for the leprechaun from. It was Gamezgirl that came up with this for the St. Patrick's challenge last year It's so cute!
Re: St. Patrick's Day designs for upcoming gig!
My son let me paint his tummy so I played around with a St. Paddy's day theme and then I tried Rebecca's princess design on my 2 y/o. Not thrilled with how ti came out as I had no visual reference for the Leprechaun but I like how the "gold" came out. I used a "dearfoot stippler" brush.
I'm glad they let me paint them but I wish they would sit still ....

Lori, I suggest googling Irish Tattoo and looking at pictures... I found a ton of good inspiration looking at tattoo designs.

I just whipped up a whole display sheet for st patty designs. I've been switching over my display sheets to cartoon-like figures.
