Sports Illustrated Body Painting
My husband has very little interest in my face painting. So it surprised me when he suddenly had a bunch of questions. It turns out there are about 10 pages of body painting in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. One page is a cartoon detailing the basics of body painting. The biggest thing that struck me was the incredible detail on those tiny painted bikinis. Beside each photo was the amount of time it took. Most were over 16 hours. The artist also is quoted beside each photo.

hee hee hee! yeah, at least he showed interest
I have the hardcover book of the Sports Illustrated Body Art. The Artist is Joanne Gair (I'm assuming she had assistants to do all that work).
The swimsuits are beautiful!!

And a link to a book with some of them:
http://www.amazon.com/Sports-Illustrated-Paint-Editors/dp/1933821205
The photos are great, but the text is written by some assistant or something that was more interested in the girls, than the art.
