Mini-Me of Brady Neher! LOL
Well like everyone here, I'm always excited about trying something 'new'! And the wonderful world view of Mr. Brady Neher has infected me as well!! So today when I went to paint-n-play with my clown pal, we had two guys over with her daughter. WELL, this was the perfect chance to do some 'Brady' practice! I hope I did him proud playing with his style and I had to share! Although I am happy with the outcome, I have to say, that I find this style very relaxing to do! Almost like meditation!!
Thank you Brady!
Thank you Brady!

Re: Mini-Me of Brady Neher! LOL
Thanks guys! Your support has just been so motivating to improve and move forward! I feel like I am progressing!! I could have been happier with the dragon if I had a bit of a picture or something to go on....I'm no dragon pro! But not too awful from memory!
Thanks again to everyone!!!!
Thanks again to everyone!!!!

Kim,
you have jumped from beginner to PRO in a matter of a few short months!
If I saw those photos without you saying you'd painted them I would have assumed that Brady painted them.....seriously.

Re: Mini-Me of Brady Neher! LOL
Well I hope to have something worth showing by the end of next week! I have a gal coming in today and I have a good chunk of her back to work on, so wish me luck!!!!!
@Linda - THANK you! You are so kind to me!
@Mandi - Brady said he liked it "AWESOME" on Facebook and I think he meant it, or he could be being kind to a fan. He seems like a great dude, I think he would be supportive to any beginning artist, but I'm going to hope he really liked it!
@Lady Jayde - Thanks! I thank the joy of Wolfe black! Almost all of the color is Snazaroo. I would probably buy almost exclusively from here if they just carried Wolfe black and white. Could be just at cost to encourage one-stop-shopping? Just a random thought.
@Michelle, Terina & PPeach and all- Thank you for the encouragement! I think one of the reasons we like this forum is that we get so much support to strive to be better! I'm pretty sure I would not be where I am without you guys. THAT is NOT just blather. I really do paint sometimes just to post here! To almost go 'Look what I did 'mom'..is it ok??'! I am really not here without all of you!
And just because I am a cornball at heart...Place goofy orchastra music in your head and read it again! LOL I know!! 'Wind beneath my wings'!!!
Sorry....after getting that serious, I had to add in the comic relief....such as it is!
Did I mention I'm not very funny? Sorry 'bout that!

Very much so. I have always found it meditative. I think it's something about the detail and the simplicity of it. They are really simple designs, but they take time and patience and accuracy to make them look perfect. they are certainly not the 30 second faces.
you did a great job Kim. i hadn't seen the one with the dragon or the teeth one yet.

Re: Mini-Me of Brady Neher! LOL
Thank you SO much for your generosity Brady! I just LOVE everything you do and your affirmation is very very meaningful for me!
I think you may see a little touch of you in my next posting when I get all my photos back from the model last night. It's really nothing like your work except for ONE thing..guess you know what that is! LOL
The explanation you give really rings in my ears...I think that is right for me as well. I get 'lost' and happy in details. These don't occupy my brain too much, but you must focus, keep steady, and 'flow' it or it doesn't look 'right'.
Again, thank you for taking time out to comment! If/when I make it to a face painting conference, I am soooo parking my behind to watch you work!
