4 th place bodypainting contest
nothing big...only 12 contesters...but I'm very happy with it...
theme was dreams and inspirations...
we have this saying...translated it something like house, tree and animal... it's kind of like the things really want in their lives... family, their own place, some nature or a garden and maybe some animals to completet it all...
so a tree, big toy cat and houses in a street that goes up and foreward...

Re: 4 th place bodypainting contest
Congratulations. Very sweet design. And something I can very much relate to at the moment, waiting to move from a small(!) apartment to a house with garden and get some animals and kids =)
How long did you have to paint it?

Re: 4 th place bodypainting contest
I got a little over 5 hours...and i only would have liked to add some grass next to the road...but hey! I'm very pleased i had time to add some flowers and white detail!
Re: 4 th place bodypainting contest
Very cool! I am really looking forward to doing a whole body someday...sooner than later!!
Re: 4 th place bodypainting contest
it is lots of fun...much more skin to work with and finding out how to use the body in your advantage is so cool!...it's my 3rd bodypainting and competition, and I'm learning with every competition!!!
Re: 4 th place bodypainting contest
It is wonderful! The colours are beautiful, the cat is so whimsical, it has such great elements and I love the little houses.
Re: 4 th place bodypainting contest
Michelle it's awesome! And congratulations. Are you traveling for these competitions or do they just keep happening near you?
Re: 4 th place bodypainting contest
Michelle, do you remember the "old timey" cartoons where the houses bounced up and down with the music, makes me smile erverytime I think of it. I can see the movement in your houses !!!

Re: 4 th place bodypainting contest
Oh wow! I wish we had competitions that close. Closest one for me is a 13 hour drive.
Re: 4 th place bodypainting contest
oh no! if I had a 13 hour drive i would be in the south of france or italy! haha...or in austria for the worldchampionship bodypainting!
luckily our country is small and I also live close to belgium and germany...

Re: 4 th place bodypainting contest
Geeze! I would totally drive a 13 hour if I had the chance to do this! the very best I can do is a plane ride and that costs big $$ out of Canada. BUT I'm hoping someday I'll get a chance to do something like this!!! TOOOO exciting!!
Re: 4 th place bodypainting contest
Big Congrats to you Michelle! You did a beautiful job, like always

Old Timey Mickey Mouse Cartoon
Michelle, I just found this cartoon really quick. The first 20 seconds shows the movement I was writing about earlier but with cars not houses, but it's the type of movement I think of when I see the back design. It just makes me feel good and smiley
