Face Painting Contest
I'm having a face painting contest on my YouTube channel. This one is sponsored by Sillyfarm. I got some pretty cool prizes from them for it. I wasn't going to post the video here since it's sponsored by Sillyfarm, but... we all know about sillyfarm so it's not like I'm letting some cat out of the bag, lol.
Metina is also going to be sponsoring a contest for me soon too, as well as another vendor from the UK. So... if you'd like to enter here is the vid. You do need a YouTube account to enter your submissions.
Best of luck to all who enter.

Re: Face Painting Contest
Lol, I replaced all my brushes with the Mark Reid ones and the Lowe Cornells.
Re: Face Painting Contest
Man, I love my Leow Cornell brushes. I can't really bring myself to use many of my older ones anymore.
And I bought them from Silly Farm simply because it said that they were "Silly Heather's favorite brushes!" I was like, "Pshh, marketing scheme" but then I received them in the mail...and they're magical or something.

Re: Face Painting Contest
I thought about ordering the mark Reid brushes. I use the Leow Cornell brushes for my window painting but never have for face painting before. I have like four different holders for the different brands of brushes that I use, Some for the regular painting that I like to do, my face painting brushes, and then my window painting brushes. What do you like about the Mark Reid brushes? Do they hold the paint nicely? I have some now that I like but I feel like I have to reload too much for my line work.
Re: Face Painting Contest
You can get the same gold brushes from here for like $7.00 for the same 3....

Re: Face Painting Contest
Thanks for the link, SuzySparkles. Wish I'd found that one before. I shopped around for brushes and they're pretty cheap online, but then when they add in shipping it costs twice as much. So I just end up buying everything from Silly Farm since I'm so close to their location. But your link has free Florida shipping and I'm in Florida...woo!

Re: Face Painting Contest
They get you one way or the other. This shipping was like $10.50 for the cheapest way from that art store! Yikes! I am sure it is only around $5 from SF(or it should be).
Re: Face Painting Contest
That was VERY generous of Heather at Silly Farm to send out those things. They do have a huge selection to choose from. I've always enjoyed her youtube vids also.
